Rhoda is the character the reader follows in the eleventh chapter of my in-progress novel.
Out of the middle children in the Girl House, she is probably the most mature and well-adjusted, even at her young age. While her sisters and friends all quibble and scramble, she just calmly sits in the corner with a cup of tea and raised eyebrows.
That said, no sibling can really suppress the urge to not mess with their other siblings, so her more childish side does tend to peak out from behind the curtains around certain people. Sometimes the temptation is just too great.
Rhoda was one of the easiest characters to write. Honesty with oneself goes a long way to make an author breeze a little more through the writing process. Thanks Rhoda!
Goodbye, lovelies!
