Emmy is the character the reader follows in the twelth chapter, and the eldest of the girls in the Girl House.
Quite possibly the most dangerous of the lot, considering she seems to be only one who has a chance of being listened to by the Fae in their house, Emmy can be seen as living on a bridge between worlds. That's what tends to happen when your power is directly linked to the fae fire of the Otherworld.
But hey, who doesn't want an older sister who can waltz through a dark, frozen forest or graveyard, haunted by the many creatures coming out during Midwinter, like it's just a stroll through the park?
She was a fun character to write. There is something about getting in the head of someone who is comfortable enough with Fae creatures to let house pixies takes naps in her curls.
Goodbye, lovelies!
