Ally is the character the reader follows in the fifteenth chapter of my in-progress novel, and one of the middle children in the Girl House.
As young as she is, she is already showing great promise in her own power. So, maybe, that's why the way she carries herself, takes in the space around her, is much more grounded and confident than her other sisters. The Yule Feast she is attending also isn't her first one, after all.
Sometimes, as a more experienced sister, you just have to deal with your more nervous, exciteable, anxious siblings. Just show them love, support, and the occasional jab, and everything will be fine!
Writing her was certainly somewhat different from writing most of the other sisters. Having a young teenager who is already mostly comfortable with all things magic and fae-like is certainly not common, but still fun!
Goodbye, lovelies!
