No Moon Water? Here's 3 Alternatives!

Hello lovelies!

So, one of the most effective and powerful waters used in witchcraft is moon water, a.k.a water which has absorbed energy from the full moon by letting it soak in its light. However I've noticed some get nervous about getting it. The full moon is only once a month and if it happens to be cloudy on that day, you're out of luck. So, if you don't have it, what then?

Well, don't you worry! Your friendly neighbourhood witch is here to tell you about three other water types you can use for your craft!

  1. Sea Salt Water. This one comes from my mom. Sea Salt is used in spells to cleanse and purify, so nothing interferes with it and it can accumelate good energy. So, these properties will transfer to this type of water as well.

  2. Rose Water. While roses are mostly known for their sway on romance and sentiment, they also have very potent magic. I find the combination of the two is pretty suitable as a replacement.

  3. Pumpkin Seed Water. Pumpkin Seeds can be used in lunar magic and are handy in spells honouring the moon in general. Therefore, this type of water can be a pretty good replacement for moon water itself.

Obviously, with any water, and with any spell for that matter, intention is everything! With water even more so, as it has been proven that thoughts can affect the water we're holding. So, even if you don't take anything else from this post, remember to at least always handle your water carefully!

I hope this was helpful!
